Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit! Happy November!

I’m a sucker for writing humor. Not writing humor, although I don’t mind that, but humor that has something to do with writing. See Exhibit A above.

I don’t remember where I first saw it (probably Facebook) but I laughed my ass off. Every time I looked at it. I still love it. I will admit part of it is the bunny (fabulous artwork by Omar Rayyan), because his expression is perfect, but the whole thing tickles me.

Another favorite is ‘Let’s eat kitty / Let’s eat, kitty – Punctuation saves lives.’ My sister has it on a mug, and I giggle whenever I see it.

Last example:

I guess this one amuses me because it’s pretty true. I automatically correct anything I read: emails, news articles, advertisements, hastily scribbled notes on sticky notes. It’s a habit brought over (I assume) from many, many years of editing.

So, when you’re out there in the world this month, take time to read, laugh at silly writing jokes (or mistakes), and spellcheck your work.

Have a wonderful November!
